Olds High School

Community Learning Campus Opens…

A new era in high school education in Olds is set to begin!

OLDS HIGH SCHOOL — We are still called Olds High School and always will be.  The difference now is that our classes and library are distributed throughout four buildings:

Core High School classes — Ralph Klein Centre
Fine Arts classes — Fine Arts & Multi Media
Library and Technology classes — Bell eLearning
Shop classes — Ag Mechanics Building

COMMUNITY LEARNING CAMPUS (the CLC) — The CLC is a concept more than buildings.  It is built on the idea that these places of learning as well as technologies that allow distance learning strive to encompass all community members.  In a building sense, we also refer to the CLC as the Bell eLearning, Fine Arts and Multi Media, and the Ralph Klein Centre.

SUMMARY — Olds High School is an integral part of the Community Learning Campus with our  partners at Olds College, Town of Olds, Mountain View County, Central Alberta Child & Family Services and Alberta Employment.  We are a campus school that by working with partners have increased our educational spaces by three times the size of the old campus.
